Ezra Johnson

Founder

"Elder Ezra L. Johnson Sr. is recognized for his spiritual leadership, love, compassion, and faith in God. His mission is to continue the ministry of Jesus Christ as an ambassador for the kingdom of God. Elder Johnson works diligently to show love through the ministry of reconciliation, aiming to reach those who are lost, hopeless, and brokenhearted. His vision is to witness 'New Life Begin' in our lives, homes, churches, and communities as he teaches and preaches the word of God. Ezra's willingness to serve, honor, and follow those whom God has appointed as watchmen in his life has greatly contributed to the leadership skills he now excels in.

Born and raised in the Church of God in Christ, Elder Johnson received his foundation in Holiness under the leadership of the late Bishop M.J. Sykes, actively assisting in the music ministry as a percussionist for many years. He later grew in spiritual maturity and developed strong faith principles instilled in him under the Late Bishop WL Porter, who licensed him as Elder Johnson in January 2007. Subsequently, he served under his father, Elder Richard Johnson Sr., for 22 years as the assistant Pastor of Greater Bethel Church of God in Christ. During this time, he faithfully served as the local YPWW President, Youth Pastor, and Sunday school teacher. Elder Johnson also served under the leadership of Bishop Designate Supt. LC Hayslett as Ripley's District Sunday School Superintendent. Elder Ezra has had the privilege of currently serving under the tutelage of General Board member Bishop Brandon B. Porter, Prelate of TN Central Jurisdiction.

At a young age, Elder Johnson trusted in God's vision, which led him to become the successful business owner he is today. He currently owns and operates Little Lambs Learning Center, which has two locations and serves as a haven for at-risk children. He earned his associates in Bible Theology and studied Early Childhood Education, while actively participating in professional organizations such as the (NAEYC) National Association for the Education of Young Children, (SECA) Southern Early Childhood Association, and (TACEE) Tennessee Association for Children's Early Education.

Most importantly, he is a devoted husband and father who loves his family. Elder Johnson is married to his beautiful wife, Charity Johnson, and they are the proud, loving parents of Malik, (EJ & wife Justice), Natalie, Matthew, Michelle, Ja'lynn, and the proud grandparents of Everly Johnson, Ezekiel Johnson, and Emberlynn Johnson."
